Paolo Piacenza
Secretary General of the Western Ligurian Sea Port Authority
Paolo Piacenza graduated in Law and holds a PhD in Administrative Law.
After being nominated Chief Director of the Port Governance, Business Plans and Subsidiary Companies Staff, Paolo Piacenza was appointed Government Commissioner of the Western Ligurian Sea Port Authority by Decree n. 217 on 8th of September 2023 till the 12th of June.
From May 2021 to the 8th of September 2023, he was appointed Secretary General of the Port Authority of the Western Ligurian Sea.
From May 2016 to December 2017 he held the post of Managing Director of I.R.E. S.p.A. In 2012 he was appointed legal counsel to NARS and DIPE, which refer to the Italian Prime Minister’s Government Office and provide assistance to CIPE, the Inter-Ministerial Committee for Economic Planning.
From 2009 Paolo Piacenza worked as a private practice lawyer, specialised in administrative law, public tenders and public-private partnerships.
