Bettolo – Genoa Mediterranean Gateway

The new Bettolo – Genoa Mediterranean Gateway, located in the Sampierdarena basin of the Port of Genoa, features a total surface area of 90,000 sqm, with a 450-metre quay and 16 m depth alongside. The terminal management company operates principally MSC container vessels, although the facility is also equipped to accommodate other carriers and cater for diverse commodity sectors, namely, breakbulk.

A full range of services are provided on-site, including certified container weighing and, upon request of the Customs and Excise Department, physical cargo inspections and control.

Bettolo boasts a direct on-terminal rail link, served by 2 RMG cranes operating across 7 tracks, each 500 metres long.
