Project

The new Rugna rail yard has been equipped with nine tracks to serve the container terminal in the Port of Genoa between Calata Bettolo and Calata Sanità and will be connected, across the Molo Nuovo Tunnel, to the national rail network. The new rail infrastructure serves Bettolo Genoa Mediterranean Gateway Terminal and PSA SECH, and foresees the installation of RMG cranes and other dedicated equipment.
The tracks are also deployed by the rail tank cars serving Genoa’s liquid bulk hub (Saar/ENI/ESA/Getoil).
