Savona, Tuesday 4 March – The Western Ligurian Sea Port Authority, the Government Commissioners Admiral Massimo Seno and Professor Alberto Maria Benedetti, and the Secretary General Attorney Paolo Piacenza, express their deepest condolences for the sudden loss of Cristoforo Canavese, esteemed member of the Management Committee of the Port Authority of Genoa and Savona-Vado, and past president of the Port Authority of Savona. Engineer Cristoforo Canavese played a major role in the Italian port industry overall and, with his valued expertise and determination, he contributed to the successful extensive redevelopment of the Port of Savona-Vado over the sixteen years at the helm of the Ligurian Port. Heartfelt condolences on the part of all the management and staff go out to all the family, to his brother Paolo and to his beloved wife Franca and son Luca.
