The Genoese terminals in Samperidarena and Prà post record container volumes for a total of 249,892 teus, a +7% gain on last year's comparable period, with strong performances on the part of Genoa's flagship terminal, PSA Genova Prà, reporting over 150,000 teus (+10.1%), and Genoa Port Terminal, operated by the Spinelli Group, recording 44,000 teus (+26.6%).<br />July's result points to the upward trend already announced in the second term of 2019 and confirms that the port is on the road to recovery after a sluggish start. In fact, the Port of Genoa is forecast to handle a total of over 2,700,000 teus by the end of this year, a +4% increase on 2018.
