New MSC regular liner service from Genoa to Canada

Genoa, 19 August 2019 – Inaugural vessel of the new Canada Express 1 Service, operated by MSC, docks at the Messina Group’s IMT terminal (Intermodal Marine Terminal), offering direct scheduled sailings to Montreal, with a 12-day transit time. The new port rotation is Montreal – Gioia Tauro – Livorno – Genova – Sines – Valencia – Montreal.
The new regular liner service from Genoa, which will deploy six containerships with a capacity ranging from 3,398 to 4,860 teu, is the second liner service operated by Gianluigi Aponte’s Swiss shipping group to call at the IMT terminal, following the launch of the Tyrrhenian Service last year.
