The Ports of Genoa at Transport Logistic China 2018 in Shanghai

President Paolo E. Signorini is to showcase Italy’s premier port to a selected audience of Chinese companies interested in investing in the Ligurian ports.

Today, 16 May, the international exhibition Transport Logistic China 2018, dedicated to mobility, IT and supply chain management, opens at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. The biennial trade fair is at its 8th edition and has over the years consolidated its position as Asia’s leading event in the logistics industry. The 2016 edition registered record attendance figures (602 exhibitors from 48 countries and over 23,000 visitors from 65 countries), whilst this edition will feature once again a comprehensive conference programme with a high-profile group of international speakers and panellists.

The Ports of Genoa will showcase their port facilities and a full range of container handling services in the Assoporti Pavilion (The Association of Italian Ports) and are also due to take part in the upcoming forums organised alongside the 3-day exhibition.

President Signorini has been invited to speak at two international forums: “Smarter Talks on Smarter Ports”, one of the conference programme’s many highlights, and “The Mediterranean Sea: where Asia, Africa, and Europe meet along the Maritime Silk Road” hosted by Intermed, the association which groups together the Ports of Genoa, Barcelona and Marseilles.
