Port of Prà: New US East Coast Service from VTE Terminal

Maiden call of the new service connecting the West Med to the United States.

The service, operated by THE Alliance and Ocean Alliance members which have merged two Mediterranean – US East Coast services, commenced operations as of 4 December from the PSA Voltri-Pra terminal. The first containership to call was the Cosco Philippines.
The shipping lines will deploy six 8,000-8,500 teu vessels and the port rotatation is as follows: Algeciras – Genoa - La Spezia - Fos - Barcelona –Valencia - New York – Norfolk – Savannah – Miami - Algeciras. The new service is operated by the following carriers: CMA CGM, COSCO, OOCL, APL, Hapag-Lloyd, Yang Ming, ONE and Zim.
