SGS Italia Spa, the certification company appointed to assess the Port Authority management systems, highlighted the firm commitment pledged by the Ports of Genoa towards both the planning and provision of infrastructure works and services and a continuous improvement in port environmental management.
ISO 9001 certification guarantees efficiency and transparency in public administration procedures and processes, whilst ISO 14001 certification attests to the Port Authority's dedication to the protection of the environment and to a reduction in the risk of environmental violations.
