The integrated tender for the executive design and construction works for the retrofit of the Levante quay and dredging along Ponte San Giorgio has been assigned to the R.T.I. Injectosond Italia.
The plan is part of the extensive programme for the Retrofit of quay walls and upgrades in the Old Port and Passenger Terminals of Genoa (P.3129), with related dredging alongside, to cater for the future generation of "World Class" MSC cruise ships. The works are scheduled to commence by the end of the year and to be completed within 20 months.
