Terzo Valico (Rhine-Alpine Corridor) President Signorini and EU coordinator Wojciechowski visit

Terzo Valico on-site inspection was completed. The project will provide the Ligurian ports with an essential link to Central European markets.

During the week of October 3rd, 2017, Pawel Wojciechowski, EU coordinator of the Rhine-Alpine corridor, completed his visit to Genoa port's logistic service network with a site inspection of Terzo valico railway line.
Paolo Emilio Signorini, President of the Western Ligurian Sea Port Authority, along with Mr Wojciechowski visited the Trasta base camp, where coordinator COCIV Rettighieri and Director General Meistro illustrated the project and subsequently lead a delegation, including experts from Liguria and Lombardy Regions as well as RFI’s technicians, to visit Fegino construction site. Mr Wojciechowski and President Signorini took the opportunity to appreciate the sophisticated engineering project and inspect the progress of the work scheduled to be completed by 2022 when the new corridor will be fully operational thus finally providing the Ligurian ports with an essential link to the Central European markets.
