Ambassador Paul Ruhr, and a delegation of leading members of the business community of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, visited the headquarters of the Port Authority of Genoa-Savona during a fact-finding mission to Genoa, coordinated by the Chamber of Commerce of Luxembourg, for discussions with a selection of the Genoese industry’s foremost companies.

Accompanied by the Honorary Consul Cesare Castelbarco Albani, the Ambassador of Luxembourg to Rome Paul Duhr, together with the high-profile 35-strong delegation, met with the Secretary General of the Port Authority of the Western Ligurian Sea, Marco Sanguineri, at Palazzo San Giorgio. The visit was followed by an inspection by boat of the facilities of Italy's premier port, including the passenger port and the cargo terminals of the basins of Sampierdarena and Prà, with specific focus dedicated to Genoa's flagship container terminal, VTE.
