Vado Gateway: new liner service to Piraeus

The new VAX service, operated by Diamond Line (COSCO group), is scheduled to offer weekly sailings from Vado Ligure's new deep-sea container terminal to the Port of Piraeus from mid-October.

The introduction of the new liner service represents an important step in the development of Vado Gateway, following the operational inauguration of the port facility in February amid the global economic crisis caused by the Covid-19 public health emergency.

The direct sailings from Vado Ligure to Piraeus dovetail seamlessly in the hub and spoke system offered by Cosco's hub port in Greece to final destinations in the Middle and Far East, India, Turkey and the East Med, and will integrate with other scheduled weekly liner services (ME2 and L75) from Vado Gateway.
