Inauguration second rail track into PSA Genova Pra’,
Today PSA Genova Pra'a PSA Genova Pra' inaugurated the official opening of the double rail track connecting the container terminal to the RFI-operated Genova Pra’ Mare rail hub.
The second rail track and the new layout of the rail hub are set to contribute to a doubling of the throughput handling capacity. This major infrastructure project was delivered across a 30 million euro investment programme, and represents the first of a range of major rail infrastructure works, to be implemented by the Western Ligurian Sea Port Authority and RFI (Italian Railways Network), in the port basins of Pra’ and Sampierdarena.
