New Akkon Lines service from Genoa,
The Turkish shipping line Akkon Lines has nominated Genoa hub port for its new West Med service dedicated to the intra-Mediterranean box trade.
Direct sailings are offered from the Port of Genoa's IMT-Intermodal Marine Terminal, part of the Ignazio Messina & C. Group. The "Max" containership celebrated its maiden voyage from Genoa's IMT facility on 3 August.The regular weekly liner service is scheduled to call at a selection of ports in Spain, Algiers, Tunisia, Libya and Turkey, and is set to handle approximately 10,000 TEUs per year at the Genoese port terminal.Click to listen to the articleNew Akkon Lines service from Genoa,
