Covid Test Hub opens in the Port of Genoa,
Following the demands of the Trade Unions and Road Haulage Associations, the Port Authority of the Western Ligurian Sea has approved the installation of a Covid antigen test hub in the port area of Cornigliano, alongside the right bank of the Polcevera River.
The site is strategically located adjacent to the port terminal gates of the Sampierdarena basin and is open to all truck drivers who are without the obligatory Green Pass requested by the Italian authorities.
The hubs have been equipped and are operated by the Industry Associations, and the Covid-19 Green Certificate is issued immediately to all the road-hauliers who undergo the rapid antigen test prior to accessing the Port of Genoa facilities. A parking area is available adjacent to the test hub.
