Ports of Genoa President visits PSA Terminal in Antwerp,
The Port Authority President, Paolo Emilio Signorini, flanked by the Liguria Region Governor Giovanni Toti, PSA Italy Board Director Giulio Schenone and the Managing Director of PSA Genoa Investments Roberto Ferrari, visited the Port of Antwerp’s flagship container terminals operated by PSA, together with David Yang, Regional CEO Europe, Mediterranean and The Americas at PSA International Pte Ltd.
The site inspection was followed by a meeting with Tan Chong Meng, Group Chief Executive Office of PSA International.
"Recent unprecedented worldwide events have impacted enormously upon the global chain supply, port and transport industry,” declared President Signorini, “Genoa is at the centre of the changes underway and today we have had the opportunity to consult with one of the leading international market players, PSA, which operates also out of our port, and who have provided us with invaluable insight which we can use in future assessments of port planning and investments in Genoa.”
“Today we are here” – explained Governor Toti - “to discuss the future growth of the Port of Genoa, together with PSA which ranks as one of our top terminal operators at Pra’ and SECH. Genoa is strengthening its leadership in Europe, bolstered by the continued support of the world’s major port terminal operators.
