Commissioner Piacenza meets with Consul General of the Czech Republic

The Consul General of the Czech Republic in Milano, Ivan Počuch, on his first official visit to Genoa, was received at the Port Authority headquarters of Palazzo San Giorgio by the Government Commissioner Paolo Piacenza.

The meeting provided both parties with the opportunity to discuss the development of new forms of collaboration between the Ports of Genoa and the vibrant business community of the Czech Republic, with a focus on topics of mutual interest, namely, chain supply management across Europe and the ship repair and ship construction industry. Consul General Počuch, flanked by the Honorary Consul of Genoa Franco Aprile and Consul Michal Buckacek, were accompanied by Port Authority officers on a site inspection by boat of the major port terminals and shipyards.
