Samos, based in Genoa, has been the exclusive distributor of Naiad Dynamics (USA) since 1983, a manufacturer of stabilizers, thrusters, and control systems for pleasure, merchant and military vessels. Samos controls Opem Sistemi, which, at its Genoa facility, designs and manufactures a complete range of electro-hydraulic and electric steering systems, as well as mooring machinery.

Samos partners with SETEC for the marketing of electric carbon telescopic masts, bow lights, and onboard electric handling systems. Samos has further expanded its offering of boat trim control systems through its collaboration with Hull Vane, specialists in the design and production of active or passive hydrodynamic appendages.
