Operator Company

A.O.C. S.r.l. is a hazardous and non-hazardous waste storage and treatment facility located in the Port of Genoa. Founded over 20 years ago, it specialises in the treatment of liquid waste.

In 2021, the Western Liguria Sea Port Authority approved A.O.C.'s project for the construction of a modern sustainable waste reception plant at Calata Olii Minerali, dedicated to the disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, with a total storage capacity of 30,000 m² and a daily waste treatment capacity of approximately 750 tonnes. The facility also features a mineral oil depot with a capacity of 1,200 m3 of which 600 m³ are designated bonded warehouse premises.

The company complies with ISO 14001:2015 environmental standards.
