The Port of Vado Ligure is located along the west coast of Liguria and, thanks to its natural deep waters up to 17 metres quayside, is capable of accommodating all classes of ships, including the ULCVs, in Italy’s most technologically advanced full-container facility, with direct on-terminal rail links to all major Northern Italian destinations.

Vado Ligure also ranks as one of the leading Mediterranean maritime gateways for fruit into Europe Whilst the ferry terminal offers scheduled services to Corsica, and the bulk facilities handle petroleum products distributed across the pipelines to the coastal depots and overland to the refineries.

Today the Port of Vado Ligure is the focus of a sizable investment programme designed to boost direct road and rail links and upgrade the open-sea breakwater.
