Vado Gateway: truck access via smartphone and new quay completion,
With the objective of easing congestion at the main entrance to both the Container and Reefer terminals, and reducing to a minimum interaction with gate control staff, truckers can now benefit from the new mobile app, “APMT TERMPoint Appointments”, launched by Vado Gateway.
The application, which can be downloaded for free from Play Store and App Store Apple, available in Italian, English and Spanish, is designed to reduce gate waiting time and introduce added flexibility in real-time management of road-hauliers appointment with the APM/Cosco-operated port terminals.
Further confirmation of Vado Gateway’s full operational status is the completion in April of the extension of the new container terminal quay from 400 to 700 metres. The second phase of the construction of the new container terminal is scheduled for completion by the end of the summer.Click to listen to the articleVado Gateway: truck access via smartphone and new quay completion,
