Ports of Genoa at the Italian Business Integrity Day, The Chief Director of Financial Resource Planning and Auditing of the Western Ligurian Sea Port Authority, Lucia Cristina Tringali, attended the First Edition of the Italian Business Integrity Day held in Bucharest on 12 April.
The event, organised by the Italian Embassy, focused on best practices in anti-corruption and transparency and grouped together a line-up of industry-leading companies, flanked by the Port Authority as the only Italian public administration to be invited as panel speakers at the seminars.
The conference day was divided into two high-profile sessions: the morning at the Italian Embassy in Bucharest and the afternoon at the prestigious Romanian Parliament Building. On both occasions, the Ports of Genoa and Savona-Vado Director Lucia Tringali illustrated the integrity and compliance lessons learned across the multiple public-private partnerships forged by the Port Authority across the years, with a focus on transparent port governance and ad-hoc anti-corruption plans.
The 2022 Italian Business Integrity Day 2022 was hosted by the Italian Ambassador to Romania, Alfredo Durante Mangoni, who had been invited as a guest speaker at the 2021 Transparency Day organised by the Ports of Genoa last 13 October in the port headquarters of Palazzo San Giorgio. George Cristian Tuta, Quaestor of the Chamber of Deputies of Romania, oversaw conference proceedings, which brought together a selection of major industry compliance experts.
