The focal point of the public tender are the drydock facilities in the Ship Repair area of the Port of Genoa.
The 25-year concession is set to award the management of five drydocks which form an integral part of the provision of the full range of common user services offered by the Ports of Genoa.
The facilities can accommodate all types of vessels, including carriers and yachts. The terms and conditions of the concession are aimed at stimulating the participation of the major shipbuilding groups to enhance the Ports of Genoa’s competitive edge in the strategic ship repair and construction industry and to equip the port to cater for the new market requirements.
