Giuseppe Santoro Srl, a long-established company based in the Port of Genoa with wide experience in maritime services and transport, has in recent times expanded its scope of action to include operations across the environmental and maritime construction industry.
The company provides a comprehensive range of waste management services to ships berthed at the port. These include collection, management, transport, treatment, disposal and recycling of waste. Giuseppe Santoro boasts a fleet of approximately 55 vessels, including tugboats, boats, floating pontoons and lighters. In addition, landside, it offers a fleet of over 60 vehicles, comprising trucks, unloaders, crane trucks, self-propelled vehicles, forklifts and vans.
Management services are provided in compliance with all the rules and regulations issued by the authorities and in conformity with the strictest safety requirements. The company has been awarded ISO quality certification for both environment and safety management: ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 (environment) and ISO 45001:2018 (safety).
