You can discover how the port is built and how it works by visiting the GENOA PORT CENTER, an exhibition centre created to make the port of Genoa known to the general public; a way to discover and learn about the port in all its diversity, including its facilities and intended uses.
Visitors have the opportunity to learn about and experience the functioning of the port, the activities carried out there, seafaring professions, technologies and all the economic and production aspects that characterise it, through the use of multimedia stations, simulators, videos, images and descriptions. The centre is located on the second floor of the Cotton Warehouses. The tour is divided into four areas: the port, ships, piers and goods.
