From 8th to 11th April, the Ports of Genoa will once again be present at Seatrade Cruise Global in Miami, the most important international trade fair for the cruise industry, which for over 50 years has been considered the most eagerly awaited event by operators in the sector, gathering 120 countries from all over the world, more than 10,000 visitors, over 600 exhibitors and more than 80 cruise brands.
This year, the ports of the Western Liguria Sea Port System will be present as part of the Assoporti collective, sharing an exhibition space called CruiseItaly with the other Italian port system authorities, Enit and ITC (Italian Travel Consultant S.r.l.), located at booth number 2006 of the Exhibit Hall.
After reaching a new traffic record in 2023, with almost 2.6 million cruise passengers handled by Genoa's Stazioni Marittime and Savona's Palacrociere, the event will be an opportunity for the Western Ligurian Sea Port Authority to consolidate its relations with international stakeholders, seize new opportunities for cooperation and present the latest projects implemented in the sector, highlighting the importance of the cruise sector for the Ports of Genoa and its economic impact on the area of influence.
Technological innovation, decarbonisation, ports and destination development, sustainability: these are just some of the topics that will be discussed at Seatrade Cruise Global in Miami, in an edition that promises to be rich in content and interventions of great interest to the Ports of Genoa.
