VADO MULTIMODAL SYSTEM LAST MILE CONNECTION IMPROVEMENT STUDIES

Within the Vamp Up project, further measures were investigated, aimed to increase the efficiency of rail last mile operations in Vado Ligure, through rail infrastructure improvement and technological innovation. Specifically, the following studies were carried out:
- Preliminary study for the improvement of the Vado Ligure Station facilities
- Preliminary study for the implementation of a Computerized Signalling System
- Analysis on process and information flows for the technical design of the rail last mile traffic management system
The latter is being used by the Port Authority as a reference model to be extended to the whole port network of the North West Ligurian Sea and implemented within the E-bridge project (CEF Action 2018-IT-TM0134-S).
